This volume is the 3rd issue in the thematic series “Typology of morphosyntactic parameters”. It contains papers presented at the international conferences “Typology of morphosyntactic parameters 2016” and The Fourth conference in General, Nordic and Slavic linguistics for graduate and doctoral students “Gensling 2016” held October 12–14, 2016 at Moscow State Pedagogical University and Institute of Linguistic Research RAS, Moscow. All papers take the parametric approach to model linguistic diversity searching for clusters of features co-occurring in natural grammars. In this volume, typological diversity is studied from functional as well as formal perspectives.
